N2  - Infertility is the inability to conceive offsprings after 12 month of
frequent mating. It is caused by hormonal, physiological and
environmental misbalancing. Moreover, Premature ovarian
failure, endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome causes female infertility which will
be discussed in this study regarding genes associated with those diseases. Therefore, the
enrolled project is about comparative genomic study of post natal blood samples of females
suffering from infertility using Microarray CGH. Blood samples were collected from the
patients by the host institution, then the samples were prepared in the lab using Thermo
Scientific GeneJET Genomic DNA Purification Kit #K0722 and Agilent Oligonucleotide Array-
Based CGH for Genomic DNA Analysis protocols. The interpretation of results were done
using Agilent feature extraction and cytogenomics software. Patients’ results were
interpreted and analysed showing deletion and amplification in genes located on
chromosomes associated with infertility. These Genes could be used and targeted in further
studies and researches for drug discovery and pharmaceutical development; العقم هو عدم القدرة على الحمل بعد 12 ً شهرا من التزاوج المتكرر .وهو ناجم عن اختالل التوازن الهرموني والفسيولوجي

الوراثة الخلوية .تم تفسير وتحليل نتائج المرضى التي تبين الحذف والتضخيم في الجينات الموجودة على الكروموسومات
المرتبطة بالعقم .يمكن استخدام هذه الجينات واستهدافها في مزيد من الدراسات واألبحاث في تصنيع الأدوية
